PILLAR is a network of experienced creative, communications, and marketing people, matched to work that fits what they do best. Some do PILLAR work alongside a full-time role at a brand or an agency. Some are independent and take PILLAR projects because the work is worth their time. Either way it is the same arrangement: the best people, on focused work, for exactly the hours it takes.

What to expect

Your practice stays yours,and the work comes to you ready

  1. Independent, by design

    You are an independent contractor with your own work, your own schedule, and your own name on the door. A short noncompete protects the relationships you work on through PILLAR, and nothing more.

  2. Paid properly, in writing

    PILLAR pays above-market rates because the work demands them, and every project is agreed in writing, rate and scope, before it starts.

  3. Direct to the people you work for

    You work directly with the organization and with Eddie, with an agency's support behind you: project management, creative direction, and production.

  4. Referrals pay you back

    PILLAR Family contractors are eligible for the Co-Op: 10% of what PILLAR collects from any organization you refer, for 24 months from the agreement date, plus first call on staffing that work. Learn about the Co-Op →
